Richland has Computer Science classes like AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science A, Computer Science 1, 2, and 3, and Advanced Cloud Computing. This is the first time Richland High School is doing a school tour.

Made in Canva, this graphic represents the movie Project Hail Mary, which released on March 20, 2026. The film follows the emotional and impacting story of Ryland Grace on his mission to save earth. The film is an adaptation of the book by Andy Weir released in 2021.

Cooking them to perfection, senior Frank Upchurch makes the hamburger patties for a past smashburger lunch menu. Each burger was served with a side of fries. "It's very eclectic," counselor Lori Heusinger said. "Sometimes it's Italian, sometimes it's Americano. I mean it just changes, and it is always good."

Illustrating a tornado and a car, Mr. Jerry Grizzle teaches his students about high pressure and low pressure. Grizzle has been teaching for thirty years. Grizzle is the only AP Physics teacher.

Richland girls basketball team after UIL Class 4A Division I state semifinals. This was a huge accomplishment for only being their first year in the program. "The key factor for our success was the standard we set for ourselves early on because of it being a new school," sophomore Katherine Taylor said. "It wasn't just about talent, it was about our work ethic we put in for every practice and the relentless effort we brought to every game."

Hands in the air, the Richland girls varsity basketball team huddles up to celebrate. The raiders beat North Hills Prep 83-20, winning their BI-District Championship. The team is led by head coach Trey Rachal.

Waving the flag, sophomore Gregorio Mansilla runs onto the field after the team scores a touchdown. Mansilla is involved in multiple programs at Richland. He is a spirit leader, sports medicine trainer, and he plays for the Richland soccer team.
Raiders Varsity Team Secures Their Third Win
Jumping with the Richland flag, junior Cole Fox runs out on the field. He is a defensive end. When asked what mindset he has when he plays, Fox said simply, "No excuses, work harder."
